What an iTeam agent does with the ActiveCampaign API
E-mail click becomes a conversation
When a lead clicks the offer, the webhook triggers the agent, which pulls the context and opens a WhatsApp conversation with the person.
Clean tags
The agent reviews duplicate or unused tags and proposes a consolidation for marketing to approve.
Qualified event lead
Webinar registrants get questions from the agent. Those who fit the profile become deals in the pipeline with a priority tag.
Unsubscribe respected everywhere
Anyone who asks to stop on WhatsApp is marked in ActiveCampaign by the agent, so they receive no more campaigns.
From the credential to the agent at work, with approval
Get the API URL and key
In Settings > Developer, generate the key for a user dedicated to the integration.
Register it in the iTeam vault
The key stays in the vault. Each agent can create and update contacts but not delete lists or automations.
Test with approval
Messages sent to leads start reviewed until the tone is calibrated.
