Cora API: boletos, Pix and statements with AI agents
Cora is a Brazilian digital bank for businesses, and it offers an API so business customers can connect the account to an ERP or their own system. It can issue boletos (Brazilian bank slips) with Pix, an instant payment method, pull the statement and track incoming payments. Access requires account credentials and a digital certificate, both issued by Cora.
What the Cora API offers
Boletos and Pix
Issue, look up and cancel boletos with a Pix QR code.
Statement and balance
Pull account entries for reconciliation.
Payments
Start payments and transfers, depending on the integration type.
Webhooks
Receive events when a boleto is paid or canceled.
How to access the Cora API
- With your company’s credentialsAuthentication with a client ID and a digital certificate (mTLS) issued for the account, which produce short-lived access tokens.
- Payments and transfers move real money, so keep them blocked or behind double approval.
- The certificate is sensitive and expires: keep it in the vault and track its renewal.
- Customers' banking data is personal data under Brazil's data-protection law (LGPD).

What an iTeam agent does with the Cora API
Boleto issued at invoicing
When the ERP invoices, the agent issues the boleto with Pix in Cora and sends it to the customer.
Automatic payment matching
With the payment webhook, the agent marks the receivable as paid in the ERP and notifies sales.
Overdue collection
Overdue boletos trigger a reminder from the agent with a second copy, and the amount is never changed without approval.
Daily reconciliation
The agent compares the Cora statement with accounts receivable and lists what does not match.
From the credential to the agent at work, with approval
Request the integration from Cora
In the app or through Cora support, request the integration credentials and the certificate for the business account.
Store the access and limit what each agent does
The Cora access is registered in the iTeam vault. You choose which agents use it and what they can do (issue a boleto, read the statement), with a cost ceiling and a record of every call.
Run the pilot with approval
In the pilot, issue a low-value boleto and cancel it. The team approves sensitive actions and follows the call history in iTeam.
Ready-made AI teams for this work
Bank reconciliation team
Bank lines, Stripe payouts and ledger entries are matched each morning. You only see what did not match, with a reason.
Accounts payable team
Invoices arrive by e-mail and in shared folders. The team reads them, checks them and lines them up for your approval before the due date.
Collections team
Before and after each due date, customers get a clear reminder with a payment link. Disputes and promises to pay go to your team.
Cash flow forecast team
Every week the projection is rebuilt from your books, open invoices and bills, with a plain note on what changed and why.
Bookkeeping team
Transactions are categorized as they come in, receipts are matched, and the month-end close starts with a short list of questions.
Questions about the Cora API
Is the Cora API free?
The API is offered to business customers; boleto and Pix fees follow the account plan. Confirm the terms with Cora.
Do I need to write code to use the Cora API with iTeam?
Not necessarily. The iTeam deployment team sets up the Cora access and each agent's actions from the documentation; IT only releases the credential and reviews the permissions.
Can the agent pay bills through Cora?
It can, if the integration allows it, but in iTeam payments always sit behind human approval and a defined ceiling.
