Contabilizei API: what exists and how to use AI agents with it
Contabilizei is a Brazilian online accounting firm and, as far as we know, does not offer a public API for third-party integration. Information usually moves through the customer's platform, by email and through documents sent and received. So an agent integration goes through the surrounding systems, such as the bank, the invoice issuer and email.
What the Contabilizei API offers
Documents and tax slips
Tax slips, payroll and reports made available to the customer on the platform and by email.
Invoices
Issuing usually goes through the city's issuer or an integrated system, and the invoices reach the accountants.
Bank statements
Information the accounting team uses for reconciliation, coming from the company's bank.
Communication with the accountant
Requests and questions handled through Contabilizei's support channels.
How to access the Contabilizei API
- No public APINo public API authentication is known. The customer accesses the platform with their account, and any integration must respect Contabilizei's terms of use.
- Do not use screen automation to access the platform without Contabilizei's authorization.
- Tax slips and reports carry sensitive tax data: restrict access.
- Tax payments should always be checked by a person.
What an iTeam agent does with the Contabilizei API
Monthly tax slips organized
The agent reads the emails with slips sent by the accounting team, extracts the amount and due date, and schedules the payment for approval.
Missing documents
The agent gathers the month's invoices, receipts and statements from email and company folders and lists what is still missing.
Due-date reminders
With the dates taken from the slips, the agent alerts the person in charge a few days before each due date.
Answers to internal tax questions
The agent answers simple questions from the team based on the reports received and forwards the rest to the accountant.
From the credential to the agent at work, with approval
Map where the information arrives
Identify the emails, folders and systems through which Contabilizei's slips and reports reach your company.
Connect email, folders and bank
iTeam connects these sources through the app catalog, with credentials in the vault and permissions per agent.
Payments always approved
Set up the process so that any tax slip payment is approved by whoever is responsible for finance.
Ready-made AI teams for this work
Bank reconciliation team
Bank lines, Stripe payouts and ledger entries are matched each morning. You only see what did not match, with a reason.
Accounts payable team
Invoices arrive by e-mail and in shared folders. The team reads them, checks them and lines them up for your approval before the due date.
Collections team
Before and after each due date, customers get a clear reminder with a payment link. Disputes and promises to pay go to your team.
Cash flow forecast team
Every week the projection is rebuilt from your books, open invoices and bills, with a plain note on what changed and why.
Bookkeeping team
Transactions are categorized as they come in, receipts are matched, and the month-end close starts with a short list of questions.
Questions about the Contabilizei API
Does Contabilizei have a public API?
As far as we know, no. Contabilizei does not offer a public API. The service is billed as a monthly accounting fee, not per integration.
Do I need to write code to use Contabilizei with iTeam?
No. iTeam works with what Contabilizei already sends (emails, tax slips and reports) and with your company's systems, configured by the deployment team.
If Contabilizei launches an API, can it be used?
Yes. Once there is documentation and a credential, iTeam's HTTP tool learns the endpoints and the deployment team sets up the integration.
