Trello integration for AI agents
Trello is a board-and-card tool from Atlassian. Teams use it to organize tasks, projects and workflows in a kanban format. Trello is a ready-made iTeam connector. The agent creates and moves cards, comments, attaches files and reads the boards you allow.
What AI agents do with Trello
WhatsApp request becomes a card
Requests that arrive by WhatsApp or email become cards in the right list, with a description, attachments and a due date. The requester gets a confirmation with the link.
Deadlines enforced without micromanaging
The agent finds stalled or overdue cards and reminds the owner. If nothing changes, it alerts the board manager.
Weekly board summary
Every Friday the agent lists what was completed, what is blocked and what has no owner. The manager gets the summary in Slack or by email.
Checklist filled from documents
On customer onboarding boards, the agent ticks checklist items when the matching document arrives. What is still missing stays visible on the card.
Connect Trello once. The agents use it within your rules.
- Native connectorIt comes ready in the iTeam catalog: you authorize access and the agent starts using it.

Questions about Trello and AI agents
Does iTeam integrate with Trello?
Yes. Trello is a native iTeam connector. You choose which boards the agent can see and edit.
Can the agent archive or delete cards?
Only with explicit permission. By default the agent creates, moves and comments, and destructive actions are blocked or need human approval. Every action is recorded.
Should I use Trello or iTeam Pipes?
They work together. Teams that already live in Trello stay there and the agent works on their boards. Processes that need approvals and SLAs can move to Pipes.
